I wrote more than 50,000 words of fiction in the first 15 days of National Novel Writing Month. And I’m actually looking forward to the next 15 days.

The goal I’ve set may be crazy and demanding, but I still enjoy writing stories, even when forcing myself to churn words out at a rate of about 3,500 a day (which for some, I’m sure, is low productivity).

Time to change gears from fantasy/romance to mystery/thriller.
